The indie scene, which has been plagued in recent times by many one-hit-wonders, generic songs, and equally generic band names, will be left swimming with Sharks in the Water after listening to the brilliant Travelling like the Light, by VV Brown. Taking the best aspects of the genre, VV (Vanessa), has skillfully created a masterpiece of a debut album, which Everybody will enjoy on some level or another. She has reinterpreted the current trends, setting a high benchmark for the near future, by creating a Crazy Amazing sound that fits so well into general music tastes, but without being slated as the “New Gaga”. VV has carved out her own niche which should Leave! her good prospects for the future. Perfect for easy listening when you have friends over for a few Bottles and a chat, great to listen to when you've finished work, or just to sit back, relax, and get a Quick Fix of serenity in such a hectic world, this collection of songs has it all.
