You know that cold/flu thing that everyone in the UK seems to have right now? It finally caught up with me. Looks like my immune system isn't as robust as I originally thought. My mum bought me Innocent smoothies today though, which, as everyone knows, are just as good as medicine. We're coming to the end of theatre season now, and will be heading straight in to a huge music gig and three musical theatre shows. Its going to be a busy time. I'm looking forward to it. On the music front: I've been listening to a dubstep artist called Burial recently. Very weird, chopped up bits and pieces with surreal atmospheric undertones. The kind of thing that has you listening too intently to dance properly. Finally got round to watching Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. I think it's probably one of my favourite films now. So many one-liners. "Wait! We can't stop here. This is bat country." Now I'm going in search of more smoothies. Pip pip.

Wow, look. First proper blog post. What to say? Well I'm currently listening to Alec Empire's 'Intelligence and Sacrifice' album. Empire was/is the lead singer for Atari Teenage Riot. Electronic-punk-hardcore-techno type stuff. It's very good if you're in that kind of mood. The video for 'Addicted To You' was played nonstop on Kerrang at one point. Tomorrow at some mad hour of the night I shall board the coach that will take me to Edinburgh, where I'm going to look at the university. Apparently about eight thousand people are expected to show up for the open day. That ought to be fun. College-wise I'm working three theatre shows, one musical and a handful of music gigs. Mostly in a sound-person capacity. For one of the plays I get to mess around with bass speakers and the most extreme low frequencies I can coax out of them. As has been previously demonstrated, I do like bass speakers rather a lot. That's enough for now I think. Pip pip.
