Top five authors:
Again I don’t really have favourites but authors I love but haven’t yet mentioned:
Cornelia Funke
Adele Geras
Scott Westerfeld
Anthony Horowitz
Meg Rosoff
(Though he’s a playwright I also want to include Shakespeare, I’ve seen some amazing productions of his plays and I love Othello; it made me cry)
Favourite genre/s:
I’ll read anything as long as it’s a good story and well written but I like ones set in the past or a different world. I’m also a softie and quite like a bit of romance. For some twisted reason I like tragedies and deaths as I like crying at the end; the more traumatising the better.
I’m currently reading:
I'm really enjoying Typhoon by Charles Cummings which is a spy thriller set in China during the transition between British and Chinese control when the country was full of uncertainty and fear.
What’s on my bookshelf:
My house is full of bookshelves but I have two lovely floor to ceiling ones in my room which contain anything and everything! I have all the picture books I loved as a young child as well as the books I love now, they’re great to look at and reminisce.
